About FIFO Mind Connect
Practical psychosocial risk education built for the people who need it most.

The program
What FIFO Mind Connect is
FIFO Mind Connect is a psychosocial risk awareness program designed specifically for fly-in fly-out, mining, construction and remote workforces. It is not a counselling service, a wellbeing app or a generic mental health campaign. It is a structured, workforce-level educational program that gives workers, supervisors and site leaders the language, knowledge and process to identify, respond to and escalate psychosocial hazards in the workplace — in the same practical way they would handle any other safety risk on site.

The audience
Who it is for
FIFO Mind Connect is built for organisations operating in high-risk, remote and rotating-roster environments — including mining and resources companies, construction and civil contractors, energy and infrastructure operators, and any business deploying workers to remote or isolated sites. It is designed for the workforce at all levels: crew members, supervisors, leading hands, site managers and contractors alike. If your people spend extended periods away from home, work in high-pressure or isolated environments, or face the unique psychosocial risks of shift and FIFO work, this program was built for them.

The team
Who builds it
FIFO Mind Connect is developed by a team with direct experience in FIFO work, mental health, workplace health and safety, and workforce education. The program is grounded in Australian WHS legislation and Safe Work Australia guidance on psychosocial hazards. It is designed to slot into existing safety systems, site inductions and contractor management frameworks — not to sit alongside them as a separate wellbeing initiative. Our goal is to help businesses meet their WHS obligations while genuinely improving safety outcomes for the people doing the work.
